The promenade offers magnificent panoramic views of Jelgava. Residents and guests of Jelgava have fallen in love with this wonderful recreation area. This is also the only official swimming area in Jelgava. In summer, there is a cafe by the river.

Lielupe Bank Promenade
The largest river of Zemgale is Lielupe, and it flows through Jelgava. In 2010, Lielupe Promenade was created, offering a wonderful space for recreation and walking next to the river Lielupe. It is approximately 1 kilometre long walkway for pedestrians and cyclists; built on an embankment five metres high with steps leading down to the water and other recreation places.
