Jelgava CPH Plant is capable of providing up to 85% of the city's district heating load, replacing the existing production capacity, where natural gas was used. The electrical power of the plant amounts to 23 MW but the thermal power – to 45 MW. It is planned that the plant will produce 230 GWh of thermal energy and 110 GWh of electric power.
Tour description
- For the tour, flat and closed shoes are necessary.
- At the production facilities, special clothing will be provided: safety helmets, vests, goggles.
