Ķemeri National Park

The Ķemeri National Park (KNP) was established in 1997, primarily for the purpose of preserving the natural and cultural values. In 2004, KNP was included in NATURA 2000 - a European network of protected areas.

The territory of the national park includes many nature trails (Forest trail, Barefoot trail, Foot-bridge in the Great Kemeri Bog, etc.), routes for hiking, cycling, and routes for cross-country skiers. The park territory includes history museums and other tourist attractions of Lapmežciems (Dunduri meadows, Ragaciems Fishermen hub, ceramic workshop "Saules ceplis"), Džūkste fairy tales, and Jurmala resort. Guided tours available.
