The Blankenfelde Manor is located in Zemgale, Jelgava Municipality, Vilce Rural Territory. The Manor was first mentioned on 6 March 1426, when Claus von Medeheym bought it from the German Order Master Johan von Mengel.
Currently, the Manor continues the tradition of using elderberries and develops elderberry wine recipes, as well as produces different juices and canned vegetables from the Manor's garden. The Blankenfelde Manor has gained permission to be a domestic producer. It is possible to book tastings.
The Manor has a Bell Museum. Here, visitors can see the private collection of bells of Valdis Jakobsons. The collection contains around 1,000 bells of different origin, history, age, shapes, and materials. Since June 2014, this collection is put on display in the renovated premises of the stable / cart-house of the Blankenfelde Manor.
