Route of tourism entrepreneurs of Jelgava municipality Weave the Taste of Zemgale in the Centennial Belt

We invite you to enjoy a new tourism route in Zemgale region Weave the Taste of Zemgale in the Centennial Belt, which combines six tourism entrepreneurs of Zemgale region!

The route combines several farms of Jelgava municipality:

  • Mālkalni family farm Blūdži offers a wide selection of cheese varieties, various vegetable salads and pickles. Tastings and product purchase is available.
  • An enterprise by Lolita Duge, Piparmētru namiņš (Peppermint House), offers various peppermint products
  • Shiitake mushroom growers, a farm Trubenieki, offers a tasting of mushroom soup, bread and butter
  • Buckthorn garden ZELT offers healthy buckthorn products

The route includes also a private souvenir frog collection Varžu māja (Frog House) and Eleja Manor Park and Tea House.
