This year’s sand sculpture festival theme is “Mythical Figures”, offering visitors the chance to explore mythical creatures from cultures around the world – from ancient Greek to Asian legends. 17 sculptors from 11 countries participated in the festival, and each of them created a unique work of art in sand. In addition to the competition sculptures, the park also features the largest sculpture of the year – “Medusa”, created by two artists from Latvia.
The Sand Sculpture Park is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm, except for June 23 and 24, when it will be closed. On June 25, the park will open from 12 pm to 6 pm.
