Sand Sculpture Park

The Sand Sculpture Park on Pasta Island has been open to visitors since 24 May, offering the opportunity to view the works created for the 20th International Sand Sculpture Festival.

This summer, the park has been transformed into a prehistoric world where dinosaurs and other inhabitants of the Jurassic era come to life in sand.

Opening hours:
Daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Except on 23 and 24 June, when the park will be closed to visitors.

Admission fees:

  • Adults: €3.00
  • School pupils, students, pensioners, and persons with disabilities: €2.00
  • Children under 7 years of age: Free admission

Tickets can be purchased on-site at Pasta Island at the ticket office near the entrance. Payment can be made in cash or by bank card.

This year’s competition featured 15 professional sculptors from 10 countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Türkiye, and the United States.

In addition to the competition entries, visitors can also view the demonstration sculpture “Dinosaur Gathering”, created by Agnese Rudzīte-Kirilova from Latvia and Roger Ferralla from Spain, as well as the specially designed entrance sculpture “Volcano”, created by sculptor Sanita Rāviņa.

The Sand Sculpture Park on Pasta Island will remain open throughout the summer, weather permitting.
